    The MacBook Air is in excellent physical condition but does not work .There is no connection to the battery via the charging cable. The battery does not work. battery information” “ charge information” fully charged -No Charging -no Full charge capacity-0 Cycle count-no AC Charger information Connected-yes Charging-no The charging light is always orange and never turns green. The equipment is faulty. It either needs a new battery or a reset. The MacBook Air currently contains sensitive information which I can not erase. I am not prepared to send it back . I need to factory reset. I can not to that as it will not allow me to. What next?

    Great merchant. Back Market themselves throw a lousy glitch ridden website with pitiful support at what was a good and well meaning idea. Result? So tired of the inaction and inability to progress the case I bought myself new MacBook Pro 16" with Apple Care Plus and so relieved to be back in the embrace of actual customer support that call you back in one minute. Back Market you need to sort yourselves out. Despite correct log in I was serially unable to reply to merchant about the highly unusual state of the MacBook Air which in the end Apple themselves in CA took pity and talked me through wiping and reinstalling. A processs that was vexxing for all. I am left with a slightly sluggish machine with a caps lock that sticks. It has never left the flat since its arrival, sustained no damage or accidents here but is not what I would have desribed as being in 'Very good condition'. I still have an older version in better condition. Back Market - great idea, glad it works for some but without doubt the worst idea I ever had. Your own IT guy that was 'helping me' to log in to my acount that refused to sho any purchase was 'truly sorry from the bottom of his heart' because it was unfair and I didn't deserve it' Too right. I had 2 thromboses during the course of our time together and cannot recommend it. I could have done better randomly buying one on ebay for this.

    The MacBook Pro I had ordered turned out to be unavailable, but they did offer a slightly older version with upgraded ram and hard drive. It arrived very well packaged and condition wise looked almost new. This is my first MacBook Pro and extremely happy with it. Everything as far as I can tell works very well. Highly recommended and will be using again for future purchases.
