It is easy to install the camera, and you have complete control of live view, recordings and settings via the app for iOS and Android.

4 Megapixels Super HD provides more details

High resolution is essential to get a valuable result for video surveillance. The Reolink E1 Pro WiFi IP camera has a resolution of 4 megapixels (2560x1440), almost double that of a camera with 1080p Full HD. This way, you get a video image with more details and a sharper image than on most other cameras for video surveillance.

Wireless Dual-band WiFi: 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz

The camera's Wi-Fi module supports the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands.

It makes the camera more usable in more environments and allows you to take advantage of the benefits of using 5 GHz instead of 2.4 GHz. For example, you can get a better signal speed with 5 GHz and less risk of the signal being dampened by the neighbours' signal. If you need maximum range and some obstacles can dampen the signal, it is advantageous to use 2.4 GHz.

The camera cannot be connected to your Ethernet network cable.

Registration of movement and notifications *)

Reolink E1 Pro Wi-Fi camera can detect movement *) with a built-in function that can activate different alarms at each event. You can choose whether motion detection *) should be active and which alarms should be triggered:

- Email: The camera sends photos or video clips in 30 seconds.

- App: Push notifications on your smartphone using the corresponding app.

- SD card: A micro-SD card can be inserted into the camera (max. 256 GB), where video recordings are stored when movement is detected *). (micro-SD card must be purchased separately).

At the standard bitrate setting (3072 kbps), the camera can store video clips from between 664 and 8640 events, depending on the size of the micro-SD card.

- 16GB: 664 – 2160 motion events

- 32GB: 1328 – 4320 motion events

- 64GB: 2656 – 8640 motion events

It is also possible to store video continuously on a micro-SD card and record in a loop so that the oldest recordings are deleted when the card is full.

Google Home integration is limited to working with live streaming via Chrome Cast. You cannot give commands via Google Home to the camera that turns on/off motion detection or other similar settings.

*) Motion detection takes place via so-called pixel detection. The camera's software can detect changes in the video image that will trigger a motion event. These changes can be caused by factors other than people or animals moving - e.g. when the sunlight changes and the shadows in the picture change.
